It’s almost noon and your stomach is growling like a wild animal, time to find your friends and go get some delicious food! This week I will discuss my favorite spot so far, Cafe La Musa Confusa. This super cute cafe is conveniently located across the street from the ISA office. Seriously, you have no excuse to not try it. Plus let me tell you about the food: AMAZING!
Cafe La Musa Confusa offers something for almost everyone. Whether you just want a great cup of coffee, a full blown plate of Tico food, or about anything in between this cafe has it. The menu includes cafe, smoothies with 100% fruit, paninis, wraps, sandwiches, pitas, salads, plus their specials of the day. Typically the specials have at least one vegetarian option. Not to mention the counter of sweets that stares at you whenever you enter the store to order. Cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, pastries, and a variety of cakes fill the counter everyday.
The prices are very reasonable. The special plate costs around $6 US for the entree with salad, vegetables, and your choice of papas or rice plus an appetizer of soup served with tea or fresh fruit juice. A cafe con leche will set you back about $1.60 US.
