I’m being taken out of my comfort zone. I’m usually an introvert but here I’m being forced to talk everyday and interact with people. I kind of feel like I don’t have control over my life right now. I’m used to taking a day off and gathering my life but here I haven’t been doing so. I travel to a new location every weekend.

I guess it’s going to take some time to adapt to having “fun” all the time. Don’t get me wrong I do have fun but I prefer it to be in moderation. Every weekend it’s like my friends have to beg me to go places and every time I travel to a new location it’s amazing.its mind blowing to see all of the beauty that God has created and if I didn’t step out of my confront zone, I would still be behind a desk missing all of it. If you’re coming to Costa Rica and you’re an introvert such as myself I charge you to come out of your shell and embarrass yourself in this culture. There’s nothing wrong with the way you are but don’t allow your personality to make you miss out on all of the cool things that Costa Rica or countries nearby have to offer.

  1. I am an introvert in a foreign country….it is rough! Although I crave adventure and experiencing different cultures, I did not take into account my introversion before diving into an 8 month program in Spain. I’m having a really hard time. It’s comforting to hear other peoples experiences.
